Stephen Wayne Pararo, ASID, IIDA, Principle,
Pineapple House Interior Design,
established the prominent firm in 1981. His
residential installations include homes across
the United States and Canada. He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree from the School of
Architecture at the Georgia Institute of
Technology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in
Interior Design from Florida State
University. He has been a professional member
of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID)
since 1976, is a State of Georgia registered
Interior Designer and a member of IIDA.
Mr. Pararo’s projects span the range of
architecture and interior styles, from a
historically accurate interior in a South
Carolina guesthouse listed on the National
Register of Historic Places and a transitional
interior for a family living in a ‘National
TreasureHeritage Home’ in Toronto,
Canada, to sleek high rise condos in Manhattan,
and simple rustic cottages in the
Appalachian mountains.
Commercial projects include the executive
offices for Harley Davidson in Jacksonville,
Florida, the Lintel Communications corporate
offices in North Georgia, medical offices in the
greater metro area and hospitality work at
Hartwell's Catachee Country Club.
In Georgia, Mr. Pararo has received over a dozen
“Design Excellence” awards from the American
Society of Interior Designers (ASID) since 2000,
and for three years in a row, in 2006, 2007 and
2008, has been honored in the Residential category
as the “Best of the Best” by the International
Interior Design Association (IIDA.) His work has
appeared in six coffee table books, including one
on Modern American Interior Design that is
written entirely in Chinese, and he has three
projects featured in a college textbook on design
that was released in 2008.
Zach A. Azpeitia, Interior Designer,
graduated from Florida State University with a
Bachelor degree in Interior Design and a minor in
Business. Azpeitia’s work includes design and new
construction projects in South Carolina, Georgia,
Florida, North Carolina and Canada. He recently
completed interiors for two luxury mountain homes
for a development outside Highlands, North
Carolina, and is co-designing the interiors of
three multi-million dollar residential
constructions in Palm Beach Florida and Atlanta,
GA. Azpeitia managed a highly detailed,
three-year new construction project that was the
cover story of the Spring 2005 issue of Atlanta
Style and Design. His wonderfully executed
full construction project on a home on an island
in Canada appeared on the cover of the Summer 2008
issue of Beautiful Homes (a Better Homes
and Garden's publication.) Other Azpeitia projects have been
featured in
Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles,
Traditional Homes,
Home by Design,
Southern Living and
in two coffee table books,
Designer Showcase: Interior Design at its Best
and Showhouse Review: An Expose of Interior
Decorating Events. He participated in
the 2005 and 2004 Atlanta Symphony Associates
Decorators Show House and in the 2004 Alliance
Children’s Theater’s Christmas House. Zach's show
house work earned him an ASID Georgia Design
Excellence Award in both 2005 and 2006. In
2007 and again in 2008, he received an ASID
Georgia Design Excellence Award in the
"Residence over 3,500 square feet" category.Also in
both 2007 and 2008, he co-designed projects
recognized as the “Best of the Best” by Georgia’s
chapter of the International Interior Design
Association (IIDA.)
Nicole (Nikki) Burch
Bachrach,
Interior Designer,
graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in
Interior Design from the FIDER accredited American
Intercontinental University of Atlanta. Nikki’s
extensive knowledge of the innuendos of
construction are seen in her many projects
orchestrated from the ground up. Well known for
her “out-of-the-box” conceptualizations and
innovative children’s room designs, her
award-winning DIFFA project appeared in the
February 2005 issue of Elle Décor. Nikki
has a number of designs that have been featured in
Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, with one of
her projects highlighted on the cover of the
magazine’s December 2003 issue. Nikki
participated in both the 2002 and 2001 Atlanta
Symphony Decorator’s Show House, as well as the
2002 Children’s Alliance Theatre Christmas Show
House. She received an ASID Design
Excellence award in 2005 in the Product/Custom
Design division and in 2006 showcased a Pineapple
House design on the premier season of "I Want
That Bath" on HGTV. She received an ASID
Design Excellence Award in 2006 for her work on a
penthouse in San Diego, CA.
In 2007, her work on a miniature playhouse called
The Honeysuckle House
won “The People’s Choice” award for a charitable
organization that serves the homeless.
Olivia L. Nezey, Interior Designer,
graduated from FIDER accredited Louisiana State
University with a Bachelor of Interior Design.
Prior to joining Pineapple House, Olivia was
employed as the Art Department Director for an
Atlanta architectural firm that specializes in
multi-family developments.
In
addition to Pineapple House projects in Hawks
Ridge, Lake Burton, Athens and throughout Atlanta,
Olivia has completed residential projects in
Callasaja Country Club in Highlands, NC, and in
Juno Beach, FL. She is currently focused on
the decor of a home in the Caribbean, as well as redefining a residence in Jupiter, FL, and on the
details of a home being built in Brookhaven.

operations manager
David B. Pararo,
Construction and Operations Manager,
is a 1982 graduate of the University of Florida
School of Building Construction.Prior
to joining Pineapple House, David
was Construction Manager with Hardin
Construction Company and managed numerous large
commercial projects valued in excess of $725
million. In addition to providing construction-related services to meet Pineapple
House's client's needs,
he manages the receipt, storage, retrieval, and
delivery of furniture and accessories for
our clients, as well as coordinating
logistics and transportation requirements for
local, national and international installations.

Audry Bagley, Project Manager,
earned her BFA in Interior Design from Georgia
State University in 2002, graduating with
honors. The National Dean's List recognized her
hard work and published her biography, as she
was among the top percentile of scholars in the
nation. As a student, she was a member of Allied
ASID and the Golden Key Club. For two years
while attending college, Audry worked in the
design department of Home Depot, where she
delivered design solutions through relationships
that required sales support and problem solving.
She completed her internship at Design
Continuum, gaining experience in hospitality
design by engaging in projects involving some of
the biggest hotel chains in the world. After
graduation, Audry worked a year and a half as
the assistant manager for Poggenpohl Atlanta
Inc. Poggenpohl’s specialty is German cabinets
and modern kitchen design. Audry excelled in
managerial responsibilities and vendor relations
there, as she prepared all proposals,
specification drawings and contracts. She has
completed projects in Toronto, Ontario and
Sunset, North Carolina, as well as many in
Georgia, including management of the Pineapple
House rooms in the prestigious 2007 Decorator's
Show House and Garden. Currently, in addition to
several new construction and decorating projects
in Georgia, Audry is overseeing jobs North Palm
Beach, FL, Stuart, FL, and Washington D.C.
Jordan Barkin, Project Manager, earned
a Master of Arts in Interior Design from the
Savannah College of Art and Design, and his
Bachelor of Arts from BrandeisUniversity.
Former employers include interior designer Jill
Vantosh and architect Duane Stone.
Jordan was selected by
Habitat for Humanity to build alongside former
president Jimmy Carter and other volunteers in
Durban,
South Africa, in
2002. Prior to joining Pineapple House, Jordan helped develop the prototype
for upgraded suites in a national hotel chain.
At Pineapple House, he is overseeing the design
and renovation of the reception center and lobby
in a health care facility, as well as managing
local luxury residential interior design and
construction projects. He is an Allied
member of the American Society of Interior
Designers (ASID) and a member of the Center for
Health Design.
Mollie Chalk,
Project Manager,
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Interior Design from
FloridaState
University.
She was on the Deans List every semester
throughout her college career, and was honored
with membership in the Honor Society Phi Eta
Sigma. Prior to her employment at
Pineapple House, Mollie managed an antique store
that specialized in custom, high-end vintage
kitchens. She was able to employ her broad scope
of computer skills (CAD, VIZ, and KCDw) to
create unique layouts and designs for the
kitchens. Additionally, she served as a
store buyer for reproductions and fine antiques.
Currently Mollie is managing Pineapple House
projects in Georgia and North Carolina.
Cristi Harris, Project Manager,
graduated from Florida State University
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior
Design. Cristi was on the Deans List
every semester. She approaches design
challenges with gusto, as exhibited by her
commanding management of a complex penthouse
project in Manhattan in early 2007. In
2008, she served as Project Manager for
Pineapple House's Grand Salon in the Atlanta
Symphony Associate's Decorator's Show House and
Gardens. She is
involved with local projects as well as one in
the Florida panhandle.
